Education & Seminars Overview

Charity Business aims to add value to the sector by sharing its breadth and depth of experience and has regularly given seminars and workshops at events such as Charityfair, CHASE, NCVO, CFDG and ACEVO conferences and Mark Freeman, our Chief Executive, is also a guest lecturer at CASS Business School on issues such as Financial Management and Outsourcing.

Charity Business provides workshop style sessions to include combined lecturing, training session activities, group work and individual work encouraging participants to ask questions, debate issues and challenge the norms. This way the participants get the most out of the session. The combination of experience provided by our trainers mean that delegates benefit from a wealth of experience from working within the sector and specific experience of planning and carrying out training for different groups within the sector.

See our Seminar Programme for full details of forthcoming Charity Business seminars.

If you are interested in attending, please contact us for further information.

You can also find information on how to start up a charity and other information topics as we develop them.

“I have worked with Charity Business in the development and implementation of a seminar programme for the ACEVO South West region since 2004.  During this time, Charity Business have voluntarily provided seminars that are tailored specifically to meet the needs of our members delivering content on topics that is engaging whilst providing delegates with the tools and theory to address issues that they have come up against in their role as a CEO.

The content and reference material is always to the highest standard and presented by an extremely knowledgeable and engaging speaker.  I look forward to continuing this relationship with Charity Business in the future.”
