Environmental StatementCharity Business recognises that the way in which it operates and works with its clients can have an environmental impact, which in the long term could have a detrimental effect on society as a whole. Charity Business looks to minimise this impact where possible and utilises sound practices of reducing, recycling, and reusing where possible that will not impact the quality or the delivery of our services to our clients. Annually Charity Business reviews its business practices to see where further improvements can be made to reduce our impact on the environment. Over the past year the business has been able to improve its recycling to 98% of all waste, reduce its use of energy by 10% and reduce its carbon foot print through the introduction of web meeting technology which reduces the need to travel to clients where appropriate. Future initiatives that we are looking at include reduction of the use of postal systems (carbon foot print), improved efficiency in the use of energy and further reduction in travel where feasible.
